Good Morning Lunar Community,

What better way to welcome early Spring than with an epic Blood Moon on March 3rd? The blood moon often signals a time for deep, personal change, transformation and growth. Its intense energy can push you to shed old habits or beliefs and inspire you to try something new. It’s like the universe is holding up a mirror, asking, “Where do you want to go now?”

Here at Lunar Studio Bisbee, March is all about welcoming new instructors (Hello Megan Phillips!), new classes (Lollipop anyone?) and new workshops (so many workshops) and pop-ups (Tune Up Dance Fitness with Kiki) – all curated to inspire you to welcome in Spring with all the joy that a personal movement practice can bring. Whether you’re looking for a gentle and supportive morning workout, the mental and physical challenges of pole dance or to explore movement through aerial yoga, we have everything you will need to start or continue your self care journey in 2026!

“POP-UP! Introduction to Aerial Yoga”

Aerial Yoga embraces the physical and psychological benefits of yoga with added emphasis on stabilization and traction. The use of a low aerial hammock allows ease of inversion, added grip strength and fluidity of movement. Modifications will be made for all ability levels.

“Intro to Hoop Dance with Leslie Rosen”

Movement is for everyBODY! This isn’t your Grandma’s Hula Hoop Class, but she’s welcome to take it! Learn the basics of Hooping on your torso, arms, and hands! We’ll also work off body in beautiful arcs and spins. It’s fun, silly and a great workout. Anyone can hoop! Participates under 16 should enlisted an adult accomplice. As a teacher, Leslie creates an inclusive, body-positive sanctuary where every student is invited to discover their own magic. “Shadow & Shine Chair Dance Workshop with Angela Rockefeller”

Have fun with the sultry moves of chair dance. This beginner friendly workshop will focus on silhouettes and smooth movements that helped the dancer feel feminine and empowered. If you are a more experienced mover, adding heels will bring a new level of challenge. Taught by the legendary Angela Rockefeller. Space is limited so register HERE!

“POP-UP Turn Up Dance Fitness with Kiki”

Turn Up Dance Fitness is a H.I.I.T. work out (High Intensity Interval Training). Turn Up is not only for fitness, but is all about creating culture! This program encourages us to empower each other and the first step to this is NO JUDGEMENT, and that includes judgement of yourself. We want to foster not only an experience of exercise, but a place to let loose, have fun, and unleash your inner diva. You’d be surprised what your body is capable of if you stop worrying about those around you and really get lost in the moment.

SUNDAYS AT THE STUDIO
Aerial Yoga – 1-2 PM March 15, 22 & 29th.
Aerial Yoga is offered as a series – the next 6-week series starts March 15th!
Lunar Landing instructors host Aerial Yoga weekly at the Aerie. Aerial Yoga embraces the physical and psychological benefits of yoga with added emphasis on stabilization and traction. The use of a low aerial hammock allows ease of inversion, added grip strength and fluidity of movement. Modifications will be made for all ability levels. Register for the series here!

Level 1 Pole with Megan 2:30-3:30PM March 15, 22 & 29th.
Level 1 Pole is offered as a series – the next 6-week series starts March 15th!
Ready to try pole dancing? This class will progressively condition and familiarize you with foundational pole shapes. Build strength, stamina and confidence! Since this is a multi level class the skills section of instruction is approached in a workshop style in order for each student to have individualized instruction and time to practice. Level 1/2 Pole with Megan 3:45-4:45PM March 15, 22 & 29th.
Level 1/2 Pole is offered as a series – the next 6-week series starts March 15th!
The Level 1/2 pole class focuses on progressively conditioning and familiarizing students with complex foundational pole shapes. Whether you are just starting to invert or you love being upside down this class will help you prepare for your next challenge. Since this is a multi level class the skills section of instruction is approached in a workshop style in order for each student to have individualized instruction and time to practice.
A least one full series of Level 1 Pole is required for this series. Please reach out to the studio if you are interested in registering for this class.

MONDAYS AT THE STUDIO
Fit N Sit – Exercise with Caren 9-10 AM March 2, 16 & 30th.
This class is high on fun and energy but low impact on joints. Perfect for folks who may be recovering from injury or who are looking for a low-impact fitness regime. Fit N Sit is a class designed to improve strength, flexibility, cardiovascular health and core muscles without putting excessive strain on your joints. The chair exercise will also improve your posture, reduce stiffness, increase circulation and enhance your overall mood. It will be a mix of non-impact aerobics, stretching, arm work and chair toning ending with stretch and calm. The main focus is on safety and fun.
Chairs are provided. Bring your own hand weights (or you can use 2 water bottles)
First class is free. $10/drop in or $80 for 10 classes.

Open to currently registered students of Lunar Studio Bisbee – open gym is facilitated by rotating teachers and is the perfect space to hone your skills and build strength in a unstructured but supervised setting.

Low Flow Pole with Megan Phillips 5:30-6:30PM March 18 & 25th
Low Flow Pole is offered as a series – the next 6-week series starts March 18th!
Are you a pole dancer who is wanting to move with a little more fluidity and grace? Are you a beginning pole dancer who isn’t quite ready to be in the air but wants to learn to slink and flow with the pole? Then you may find yourself in our low flow class taught by one of our fabulous instructors Megan Phillips! We will be working on choreography based movement by learning to link spins/tricks with basic transitions and dance moves. Low flow will utilize conditioning and flexibility to help improve your strength and allow yourself to dance like no one’s watching! Normal attire for a regular pole class is required but be sure to bring knee pads for protection! Register for classes here!

Lollipop with Megan Jones 6:45-7:45PM March 18th & 25th
Lollipop is offered as a series – the next 6-week series starts March 18th!
Lollipop is where strength meets spin and sass meets skill. This apparatus blends the grounded stability of pole with the dynamic beauty of Lyra, creating a playful, powerful experience that builds full-body strength, fluid transitions, and fearless expression. You’ll work towards climbs, inverts, spirals, and fly—all while feeling supported and empowered. Policies & Procedures:
Attendance & Make-Up Passes:
Here at Lunar Studio Bisbee we offer a variety of movement and fitness classes that are 4 or 6 week series. Dates for each class in a series is presented to the student upon registration. When signing up for a series it is the student’s responsibility to ensure the class dates do not interfere with any personal or professional scheduling. Once signed up for a series of your choosing you are allotted one make up pass with a properly notified absence. Properly notified absences are given, at minimum, 1 week in advance of the absence in class. A weeks’ time is required for cancellation in order to make the spot available for drop ins. Advance notice must be given to the instructor of the class or the studio owner Angela Rockefeller. Once an absence has been properly notified to the instructor One make up pass is allotted to the student. Make up passes expire in 3 months and can be used at the discretion of the student in any class that accepts drop ins. Any absences not properly notified to an instructor or failure to attend a class without notice forfeits the opportunity for a make-up pass for the missed class. Additional Make up passes will not be awarded after the initial one. Drop in reservations must be cancelled 24 hours in advance before the class or reimbursement will be forfeit.
