This Week in Bisbee Person of the Week!

While on sabbatical and visiting her sister in Elfrida, Kay Schmidt-Burke was bopping around Bisbee when her future husband rode up on a bicycle. She moved here 14 years ago to be with him. Kay enjoys gardening, hiking, and walking her two dogs Lyra and Kya. See also enjoys the various wildlife she sees in her backyard including mountain lion, deer, bear, and javelina. Kay’s favorite things about Bisbee are the climate and the people. Mostly the people she says, “it’s so welcoming here and you feel like you’re part of something.” Tell her you saw her in TWIB!
