The Bisbee Community Chorus (BCC) invites old and new members to its first rehearsal of the fall season on Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the Presbyterian annex, 24 Howell Ave., Old Bisbee. Orientation and cake (!) starting at 5:45, then rehearsal of 5 songs. BCC is a non-auditioned chorus, headed up by new Artistic Director Nathan Darus, with new accompanist Timothy Dick. Regular rehearsals will be on Tuesday evenings, 6-8pm, at the annex. Come and sing with us!

JAM NIGHT Bisbee Grand 6-10ish – bring your ax, sticks, and picks, and play with a gaggle of Bisbee’s best musicians but players of all levels are welcome and encouraged to sign up for a 15-minute/3 song slot. Full drum kit, keyboard, and amp backline (usually a guitar and bass you can borrow, too).

Attention all Bisbee artists and creatives! Hotel LaMore at The Bisbee Inn is opening it’s hotel communal area to the community! Anyone looking to hold small events or workshops are encouraged to reach out via call or email (frontdesk@thebisbeeinn.com) to either myself or Bree to discuss the opportunity. At this time we are not charging for the space, as it’s a soft launch into holding events. Events must wrap up before 7pm so not to disturb guests staying in the hotel and must comply with our occupancy limit. The Bisbee Woman’s Club is holding it’s 22nd Art Chairs & More, a silent, in person auction, on November 24 & 25, 2023. Paintings, photos, collages, textiles, ceramics, hand-made jewelry, artistically altered furniture etc. are all welcome. Collection of artworks will take place Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Greenway School Cafeteria, 98 Cole Ave., in Warren. Work will be accepted from 10 AM to 4 PM. We look forward to the opportunity to display your beautiful work and thank you in advance for helping us with our scholarship fund!
