We all want a great summer pool season and working together might just make the difference! Tell everyone you see that lifeguards are needed at all our city pools! We need more than high school students to apply. Teachers off for the summer can apply, retirees can apply, if you are over 15 years old, you can apply. Bring personal papers you want to see shredded to the SHED-IT SHRED-IT event on Saturday, May 11, from 9am to noon in the Ace parking lot, 1220 Naco Highway. This is a fundraiser for the Bisbee Community Chorus, and the suggested $10 per box donation covers the cost of getting the shredding truck to Bisbee, with the remainder of the donation supporting Chorus operating expenses. Also accepting eyeglasses for recycling and unwanted toiletries for sharing. Sorry – no electronics or pills.
The Stepping Back in Time Walking Tour with historian Boyd Nicholl will take you through the streets of Bisbee while sharing the community’s history.
