This Week in Bisbee Person of the Week!

Tareq Knocks is originally from Kuwait, but he had been living in L.A. playing drums in a band. He wasn’t too happy with how things were going, so he reached out to his friend Bingo who lives here (with Doug Stanhope) in Bisbee. He came here in 2020 and stayed for a year or so, and then left. But he couldn’t stay away, and now he’s back for good, working on his own music project as well as playing drums in other bands. “I was super shocked how good it felt to be back.” His favorite thing about Bisbee? “The people here don’t care how many Instagram followers you have or what kind of car you drive. All they care is :Are you a good human being? I fucking love that. It’s a different kind of currency that goes a long way.” Tell him you saw him in TWIB!
