This Week in Bisbee Person of the Week!

When Derek Dixon told his Ayurvedic astrologer, Chakrapani, he was thinking of moving, the astrologer replied “Well, what are you waiting for?” He didn’t wait and moved to Bisbee in 2016 after hearing about it from a friend. Derek plays guitar and has studied with George Van Eps and Ted Greene among others. After a period of not playing very much, Bisbee got his music back on track. Derek plays with Short Notice and well as other musicians. His favorite thing about Bisbee is the music scene. Besides playing music, Derek is working on getting younger rather than older. Tell him you saw him in TWIB!
